GROW! GROW! GROW! At WBCC we believe that everyone grows in Christ's love. From
nursery care, to Sunday school, our two youth groups, and adult Bible study... our
Christian Education program has something for everyone at every stage of life.

• Nursery Care is for children up to age 5 and is available at most services. The nursery is just a
few steps away from the sanctuary and is loaded with toys, books and diapering supplies. We ask
for volunteers to staff the nursery so that our young families can enjoy the service.

• Sunday school is offered most Sundays. Classes meet Sunday mornings after the Pastor's
children's message and run until approximately 10:55 throughout the school year. Children are
escorted from the sanctuary to the Sunday school rooms by their teacher(s) and returned to the
sanctuary (if service is still in session) or the Fellowship Hall (for coffee hour) after their lessons.

Sunday school classes are designed for children in Kindergarten- 5th grade, and are divided into
two groups: Kindergarten -2nd grade, and 3rd grade- 5th grade.

This year we are happy to introduce a new Sunday school curriculum this year called Whole
People of God. This curriculum is lectionary based, meaning that the children will be learning
about the same passages that are being read during the church service. "Because all ages are
focusing on the same scripture passages, follow-up conversations at home are natural and easy in
a way not possible when children, adults, and youth are focused on different Bible stories." (from
the Whole People of God website)

We like to have the children participate in the musical aspects of several services. Practice is
during regular Sunday school time.

The Christian Education team plans several fun events for children throughout the year. These
events usually take place in the afternoon or evenings in the Sunday school rooms. We usually
accept some sort of donation (canned goods, school supplies, monetary donations, etc.) for a
chosen charity or cause at each event to encourage generosity and stewardship in the children.

• Youth Groups: Older children can participate in F.R.O.G.s or CIA. F.R.O.G.s (Fully Rely on
God) encompasses our middle school age kids. This group meets approximately twice a month
during worship service. The C.I.A. (Christ in Action) is our group of confirmed high schoolers.
Both groups are active in missions, community service
